Holland Bloorview Family Support Fund: is financial support


to families using Holland Bloorview services during a time of
transition or stress. It funds equipment, recreation and life skills
programs, also modifications to home or car, medications
or respite.
Presidents Choice: is a financial support for families with children under the age 18
with a diagnosed physical or developmental disability who have a household annual
income less than $70,000. The funds are for equipment or therapies that the child needs
or requires.

Connecting you with Care (CCAC): is one of the Community Care Access
Centres in Ontario that connect families to health care in the community. The
CCAC also pays for ambulance bills.
Jennifer Ashley: is a foundation that provides funds to assist children with
illnesses or disabilities and their families with financial emergency within their
Crisis, Care, and Wellness Programs.
Easter Seal: is an organizations that provides programs, services, and funds to
individuals with physical disability. They cover financial cost of equipment,
materials, adaptations, and therapies for individuals with a physical disability

March of Device: is an assistive device program that provides financial


assistance to individuals with a physical disability. They help individual purchase
equipment or devices, help with repairs, and connect to services or programs for
daily care.
Blue Cross: is a health and travel insurance coverage that provides funds to
children and families when traveling.
The Carson Foundation: is a foundation that provides children with special
needs funds by using their philosophy of no hassle, no restriction approach. The
families write an email to the foundation and tell them what their child needs,
and they provide the funds.
CTV Neighbour Fund: is a non-profit agencies that provides families in the
community funds in emergency situations.
Safe Haven: is an agencies that provides overnight respite care and day
programing/care for children with special needs. However, there is a cost to the
service, for the overnight/24hours it is $40 and the day programing is $20.
