To Use Social Media to Engage Businesses in the Spokane Community and Create an Overall Greater Awareness of
Spokane HOPE
Impact Objectives
1. Informational: To increase awareness of Spokane HOPE through social media by 15% by November 1,
2016.
2. Behavioral: To increase participation of businesses with Spokane HOPE through social media by 15% by
November 1, 2016.
3. Attitudinal: To increase positive opinion of Spokane HOPE through social media by 15% by November 1,
2016.
Output Objectives
1. Write features stories about alums of Spokane HOPE and post a picture with each story on social media. In
each feature story, include an update on how the alum is doing now and how Spokane HOPE positively
affected the alum.
2. Start a social media campaign during Septembers Deaf Awareness Month. Encourage the Spokane
community and businesses to talk about Deaf Awareness Month and to tag Spokane HOPE. Teach the
community through social media about Spokane HOPE and hearing loss.
3. Connect to businesses and the Spokane community through social media by creating a video to raise
awareness of Spokane HOPE and tag businesses to encourage them to share the post. Premiere the video at
Hoedown for HOPE and post on social media.
