UTN and UNESCO sign agreement to promote

bioethics and human rights.
Universidad Tcnica Nacional and UNESCO signed on Tuesday, April 5th
a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of
uniting ties and efforts to
promote awareness and
respect for human rights
from a bioethical perspective, which is to realize the
creation Chair of Bioethics
and Human Rights to work
in the UTN.
This agreement was signed

by the Rector of the UTN,

Marcelo Prieto and UNESCO Director for Central
America and Mexico, Pilar
Alvarez, in the presence of
representatives of both institutions, Consejo Nacional
de Rectores (CONARE).
With the signing of this
memorandum the UTN
strengthens its explicit option for the democratizati-

on of bioethical knowledge
in all areas of their academic praxis and the defense
and promotion of human
rights.
The Rector of Universidad
Tnica Nacional, Marcelo
Prieto, said that this agreement is a platform to develop a broad program in the
field of bioethics and human rights by creating a
chair of science, technology and society.

UTN and CONARE carried out a study on status of

technical training programs
Universidad Tcnica Nacional
and Consejo Nacional de Rectores conducted research on technical training programs between
February and June 2014, with 35
institutions and 562 registered
programs.

The study found significant differences respect to hours of practice, entry requirements, names to mention
the same occupational and lack of
supervision profile, among others,
which, in the opinion of the Minister
of Education, Sonia Marta Mora, "is
a disorder".

Bullying in
universities

Many people think that bullying does not happen in Universities,

but I know that it is happening nowadays. We are all responsible
for helping to ensure that individuals do not suffer any form of
harassment.
Bullying and intimidation are offensive behaviors that humiliate
or undermine an individual or a group. If you think you are suffering such behavior from a student or a teacher, do not feel you have
to tolerate it. An example of bullying can be when someone is in
front of the class doing an speech and his or her classmates are
making fun of him or her. People have to know that the person who
suffers bullying can suicide.
If it is possible, go and talk to the person concerned, tell them that
their behavior is causing offence and ask them to stop. Often speaking with the person about their behavior can bring the situation to
an end. Sometimes people do not realize that their behavior is upsetting, and explaining this to them can be enough to make them
rethink their actions. It is the best to approach the person at the earliest opportunity to prevent the behavior from escalating.
Remember we have to think twice before we talk or do something
that you know can affect or make someone feel bad.

Facebook
Facebook is the most used and loved social networking site than any other site. It
has almost brought a revolution in the history of the internet world. No other site
could not make such a huge impact on the internet users which was only done by
Facebook. We always keep asking a common question which is that should people keep using Facebook or should they just stop using Facebook? Which decision will benefit the internet users? Lets get in the article and analyze in details!
People use Facebook for different reasons. Some people use Facebook for business reasons, some use for making new friends and some people use it for keeping in touch with their close persons. But one thing we all should keep in mind is
that we have to use Facebook without hurting anyone or costing them any problem. If people can assure themselves that they will use Facebook for their own
reasons and will not spam or hamper anyone then they should keep using Facebook. Because we need such people in the internet world who will try to keep it
clean. On the other hand, those people who can't assure themselves this things,
they should not use Facebook at all by any means. Because if they do then it will
hamper the internet and world and it will get polluted a lot sooner than we think.
