Miss Kint completed her degree in Special Education MPH and Elementary Education with teaching certification. During this time it was my pleasure to supervise her within the special education clinical experience. ‘Conducting multiple observations, conferences and having Miss Kint as a participant in practicum meetings allows me to confidently recommend her for a teaching position in special education. Miss Kint demonstrates a comprehensive and working knowledge of evidence based best practices in education. Specifically, Miss Kint developed lessons that included Universal Design for | Learning providing students with multiple means of expression, engagement and representation. Miss Kint demonstrated a commitment to effective planning through the incorporation of model, guided practice and independent practice opportunities. Miss Kint developed novel activities that incorporated student interests in order to promote ongoing engagement throughout the lesson and established a positive classroom environment.
