an extensive exposure in the health care field with my experience working in the hospital
and in homecare as well. I learned that the nursing profession demands qualities such
as creativity, caring nature, patience and trustworthiness. I believe I possess all these
qualities and more that is expected from a dedicated nurse.
Having recently completed my Practical Nurse Diploma program at NorQuest College, I
possess a temporary license at the moment. As a refresher student, I have gained
knowledge, skills and the professional attitude towards providing the best nursing care
for my patient. The training during practicums has equipped me with confidence and
competence as a practical nurse in the real setting. While working as an Emergency
Nurse in the Philippines, I have worked efficiently by performing nursing procedure,
following doctor's orders, and exercise good judgement in a critical setting. My job
when I came to Canada as a home care nurse has taught me essential nursing skills in
the community wherein I encounter different situations while interacting and rendering
care to my patients and their families.
I have full confidence that my diverse experience and understanding of nursing
