For example even if aga ‘as my film they wouldrit be right to publish my 2 magazines that caught my eye whilst doing my research was empire magazine, this is a film magazine, which is highly respected, if | got my film poster published in that magazine, my film would automatically have a good reputation attached to it, also the audience that read empire magazines film my target audience Not to mention if they are reading Empire magazine then they probably have a good film knowledge and their judgement will be respected so if they see the film poster and think it looks good and suggest it to people then this may draw more audience in.However, I then started to think that the audience of Empire magazine is a Very niche audience, although itis a massive magazine only people that really love films will read it. Furthermore, when looking in to its ‘audiences the magazines audience is predominately men, whereas my target audience is men and females. Therefore half of my target audience is not being targeted. This lead me to look at other magazines such as cosmopolitan. Even though this magazine has the same issue with gente, it led to me thinking about Publishing my poster in both of these magazines. Cosmopolitan has a mass audience which read about what is “in fashion and therefore if they see my film poster in the magazine they may be influenced to think that my film is ‘in’ and go and see it
