Looking back at the 2014-2015 school year, I thought it
was a success. Overall, my students improved academically. For instance, according to the I-Ready Diagnostic Test reports the measure of student growth performed increased throughout the school year for reading. The students surpassed the Progress Targeted Growth, which was set at 100%. In June of 2015 the Progress Targeted Growth was 211%. As for math, although some of the students struggled in the early part of the school year, however, their scores increased. They went from 13% to 77% in the area of Achieved Targets at the end of the school year. My goal is to progress in the areas that I got developing to effective. And in the areas I got effective I want to advance to a highly effective. I believe with the prior Professional Developments, such as Thinking Maps, Close Reading, Vocabulary Instruction, Leader In Me, and differentiated Instructions, and future Professional Developments along with a unified and supportive fourth grade team I will accomplish those goals.
