Yes, but only some months, the nearest thing he do on the childhood is reading
books because hes stepmother

In 1856 in the United States they create the Republican Party that was against the
slavery. Lincoln joins the party the same year. On May 17 of 1860 was selected for
being candidate for the presidency, and he launch his campaign meanwhile the
Democrats where divided with different points of view.

Lincoln won on November 6 of 1860 he won the elections against a Democratic Party
totally divided. Lincoln won all the northern states that where against the slavery;
meanwhile the Democrats divide their votes in the south.

7. What did the Emancipation Proclamation do? Why is it so important?


This is a proclamation made by President Abraham Lincoln; on the declaration it
says that every American that is working as a slave it can go and be free. The
proclamation was the firths part for liberating the slaves from the country. It was
made on January 1, 1863. From that day they try to make free each slave from
North America.
8. Why do you think Abraham Lincoln is called one of our greatest presidents?
Lincoln is call one of the greatest presidents because he removes slavery from
the United States and avoid that the country divides in two because each part
has different live styles and different ways of thinking. But what he makes him

even more important was his way of thinking, and his way of talking and
defending his own ideas in public. For me the most important part of his life is the
power that he got, he shows that his ideas can be transform into reality by
fighting for them, he shows us that if you want something, the do anything for get
it.
9. How did Abraham Lincoln die?
April 14, 1865, Lincoln was assassinated at Ford's Theatre in Washington by
John Wilkes Booth, an actor, who somehow thought he was helping the South.
So he shot on his head giving him an instant death in the middle of everyone.

The Lincoln Memorial is a museum, and it was build up in honor if this president,
in here you can find all about his life, his acts and his impact on the society.
11. What is Lincoln's Gettysburg address? What was the Battle of Gettysburg about?
In July of 1863, General Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia of 75,000 men
and the 97,000-man Union Army of the Potomac, under George G. Meade,
concentrated together at Gettysburg and fought the Battle of Gettysburg.
Of the more than 2,000 land engagements of the Civil War, Gettysburg ranks
supreme. Although the Battle of Gettysburg did not end the war, it was the great
battle of the war, marking the point when the ultimate victory of the North over the
South became clear to both sides alike.

1809, and during his life he get involve in the politics and in his fight against the
division of the States, and against the slavery in places where this dint exists.
When he won the war against the Confederate States he starts destroying the
slavery all around the country. He gets very famous because the way he talks
and convince the people on his conferences and debates for defending his point
of view
