Land
The land in Australia is mostly low and flat. The center of Australia called the
outback. It is very dry. Sometimes even rivers and lakes dry up.
Australia is located below the equator. It is known as the land down under.

Over 7.6 million people live in Australia

Animals
There are a lot of animals in Australia.
There are around 500 kinds of lizards and over 100 species of snakes.
Kangaroos, koalas and wombats are only found in australia.
Kookabarras are a kind of bird that can run really fast but they cannot fly.

People
Most Australians have ancestors from Britain.
Four percent of Australians are from Asia.
Only 1 percent of Australians are aboriginals.
Aboriginals were one of the first people that lived in Australia.

Famous Cities
Melbourne is the capital of victoria. It is known for importing chemicals, oil, iron,
steel and paper.

Sydney is the first known city in Australia. It is popular for the Sydney Opera
house, the sydney harbor and blue mountain.

My Opinion
I like the animals in Australia. My favorite animals are lizards, koalas and giraffes. I
like the desert and woods in Australia. I am happy because they protect their
environment. I would like to go to Australia one day!

On July 23, I was born. I live in Brooklyn, New York. My family is my mom and my
dad. My family takes me places that I like to go. My favorite subject is science. My
favorite activities are art and boy scouts. My favorite trips are going to the zoo. I
am going to Massachusetts with my church and I am going Chicago with my Dad
on a cool train. I cannot wait!
My Mom is an OT and my Dad helps me write a book about Santa and his
reindeer. I go to school at CCGS. I like to go to movie theaters. My favorite movie
is Kung Fu Panda 3. I love writing mysteries. When i grow up i want to be a
