Instructions for Adding Names to Certificates

Use the following steps to add name and club information to the certificate:
1. Open the interactive PDF of the certificate in Adobe Reader. (If Adobe Reader is not the
default program for opening PDFs on your computer, right-click on the certificate file
and click Open With > Adobe Reader.)
2. Click the Fill and Sign tab.

3. Click Add Text from the Fill & Sign menu.

4. Click the cursor where you would like to add text and type the appropriate information.

5. Click outside of the text to deselect it. Then approach the text with the cursor until the
cursor changes from a line to a filled arrow (or until the text is surrounded by a blue text
box).

6. Drag the text box to center it on the appropriate line.

7. Highlight the text and use the sizing and font menus to adjust the text.
NOTE: If you change the font size or typeface drastically, you may need to readjust the text
box position. You will need to click out of the text box before you will be able to drag it.

8. Repeat steps 4-7 with the other desired fields.

9. Print or save as needed.
