JERRY UELSMANNS STYLE AND

Uelsmann was born in 1934 in Detroit, Michigan. When
he was around the age of 14 is when he first started
photography. He started to get a few jobs but just of
taking pictures of models. He graduated from Indiana
University with a degree in photography. He taught
photography at the University of Florida in 1960. He had
his first solo exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art. He likes
to take pictures of things so you cant see past them so
you have to imagine and define the photo of what is
behind it. He makes collages of all the photos he takes
and forms edits from all the photos to collect the attention
to the main photo with what is inside of it.

HE LEAVES THE DOOR OPEN SO YOU HAVE TO IMAGINE WHAT IS

INSIDE. ALSO HE WARPED ALL THE PHOTOS TOGETHER TO MAKE IT
LOOK LIKE THE MODEL IS ON A PERSONS HANDS WALKING IN THE
CLOUDS.

THIS PHOTO IS OF A MODEL BUT SHE IS LOOKING OVER THE

CITY AND IT WAS COLLAGED TOGETHER TO SHOW WHAT
SHE WAS THINKING IN HER MIND.

THIS PHOTO IS PEOPLE WALKING DOWN THE BEACH AND THEY ARE
LOOKING INTO THE WATER. BUT SINCE WHEN PEOPLE USUALLY GO TO
THE BEACH THEY STARE OUT INTO THE WATER AS THEY WOULD IF
THEY WERE LOOKING INTO PICTURE FRAMES.

THIS SHOWS A PERSONS HAND WITH THE MODELS FACE IN

IT. SHOWING THAT A PERSON CAN HOLD ANOTHER
PERSONS LIFE IN THEIR OWN HANDS.

THIS PHOTO SHOWS A PERSONS HANDS WITH A PRISON WINDOW

AND THE OTHER WITH THE CLOUDS. THIS SHOWS THAT YOU HAVE THE
CHOICE TO PICK BETWEEN LIVING IN A PRISON OR LIVING IN
HARMONY AND PEACE.

THIS PHOTO SHOWS THAT EVERYTHING IS STILL UNTIL ONE

LITTLE THING DISTURBS ALL THE PEACE LIKE THE ROCK
MAKING RIPPLES ON THE STILL WATER.
