FEATURES / BENEFITS
Patented Charger QX2 Dual Seal Bearing Technology

Radial shaped dual seals offer longer bearing hours and higher
load capabilities than conventional o-ring seals. Kevlar
coated excluder seal technology protects the primary seal.
Phinodal bearing sleeves dramatically increase weight and
rotation speed capacities.

OPERATING PARAMETERS

A patented system approach to cutting the gage and hole

wall corner that minimizes fatigue, heat checking induced
breakage, and insert wear. Uses semi-round top inserts on
gage, alternating with Sculptured QX off gage inserts.
Patented Ridge Cutter Technology

Small diameter inserts are placed strategically in the cone to

cut uncut rock ridges from hole bottom and prevent excessive
cone wear.
QX Gage Inserts

Crest geometry shape and TCI (Tungsten Carbide Insert)

grades help sustain productivity in abrasive conditions.
Conical Top Interior Inserts

The tough Conical Top insert shape provides added strength

and wear resistance to the insert tip.

DRILLING APPLICATIONS
Designed to drill abrasive and semi abrasive formations such
as, medium-hard porphyry copper deposits, medium to hard
coal overburden, highly oxidized soft hematite, magnetite, and
banded iron formations (BIF). These deposits may contain
granite porphyry, quartzite, and conglomerates. Bit responds
best to medium weights and rpm. Compressive strengths of up
to 35,000 psi (241 mpa).
