Poor Single-Mother College Student Summary

In this journal article they speak of the large growing demand of single mother
households in the western countries. Majority of these single mother households
live in poverty and struggle to care for their children without assistance from the
government. They feel it would be beneficial to have more programs to return to
college or a post-secondary school. Though there are some women that are taken

influence that comes from the programs. If the women shared their experiences and
accomplishments to their academic success the possibility for more women to feel
confident in joining the programs could be beneficial to their financial success.
