PITIKWAHANAPIWIYIN
(POUNDMAKER)
Born in 1842
1876 was a headsman of one of the river peoples bands
Emerged as a spokesperson for a group critical of the treaty
1879 became chief
2nd of May 1885 his camp was attacked
Asked for peace and surrendered himself
Served two years in prison and released because of poor health
Passed away not too long after

In conclusion I think Pitikwahanapiwiyin (Poundmaker) had a bigger
influence on his people considering he was a chosen spokes person and
Mistahimaskwa (Big Bear) lost most respect from his.
