MISSION

Hands on learning activities in a wide variety of adventure and

outdoor settings

We create, share, and apply knowledge about parks,

recreation, and tourism to inspire students, inform policy,
serve social needs, encourage sustainability and economic
vitality, and advocate for the health of people, communities,
and the environment of which we are part

Develop skills in group dynamics and leadership, b usiness

administration, educational philosophy, and teaching and
communication
Learn to engage in outdoor recreation activities, manage risk,
and effectively teach skills in outdoor and experiential settings

your strengths, interests, and limitations and gain Internship Information
an appreciation of roles, duties, and responsibilities
of parks, recreation, and tourism professionals
