Content outline: Learn about members of the string family
Sing a Valentines Day song
Rationale: Students need to learn about members of the string family to learn how the
different families work together to create music
Materials/Equipment: Violin, viola, cello, double bass
Lesson Opening: Old John Braddleum
Connection: Students have some knowledge of the violin through the Suzuki program
