Ms. Rossi was a student of Louise Ammentorp at The College of New Jersey. She earned academic honors including a 3.71 GPA and membership in two honor societies. During her junior year practicum, Ms. Rossi created thoughtful, well-written lesson plans with clear objectives and assessments. She also successfully developed and taught a two-week unit on solids and liquids in a first grade classroom. Ms. Rossi is dedicated to self-improvement and incorporated feedback to strengthen her teaching. Dr. Ammentorp highly recommends Ms. Rossi for teaching positions.

It is my pleasure to write a recommendation for Ms. Sydney Rossi. Ms. Rossi was my student for her junior year practicum, Integrating and Differentiating Instruction at The College of New Jersey. Ms. Rossi is a hardworking and organized student, dedicated to children and the teaching profession. This is reflected in the numerous academic honors she earned at TCNJ. She has a 3.71 GPA and is a member of Sigma Tau Delta and Kappa Delta Pi honor societies. During the junior year practicum students learn to write, implement and assess weekly lessons, with a focus on differentiating instruction. Ms. Rossis lesson plans were thoughtful, well written, with clear objectives and authentic assessments. As part of the course, students develop a two week sequential unit on a topic chosen by their cooperating teacher. Ms. Rossi and her partner successfully developed, taught, and assessed a two week unit on Solids and Liquid in her first grade classroom placement. Her lessons engaged students through a variety of hands-on activities. Ms. Rossi is deeply invested in developing herself as both a teacher and a learner. She continuously sought and applied feedback to her instruction. I have no hesitation in recommending Ms. Rossi. I have no doubt that she will be a welcome addition to your schools community.
