BOARD RESOLUTION FOR THE CORPORATIONS ACCREDITATION BEFORE THE

BATANGAS CITY LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

Whereas, the State recognizes the need to protect the rights of domestic workers against
abuse, harassment, violence, economic exploitation and performance of work that is hazardous
to their physical and mental health; and
Whereas, the State, in protecting domestic workers and recognizing their special needs to
ensure safe and healthful working conditions, promotes gender-sensitive measures in the
formulation and implementation of policies and programs affecting the local domestic work.
Whereas, the members of the corporation, in consonance with the RA 10361 or known as the
Kasambahay Law deeply wanted to protect every right of a kasambahays thru a legitimate
organization that envisions the continuous promotion of rights and representation before the
law;
The undersigned members of the Board of Trustees hereby RESOLVED;
That upon a meeting conducted on the 13 th day of March, 2016 at Block 5, Lot 6, Dolor
Subdivision Batangas City, the members of the abovementioned corporation agreed that the
said corporation be accredited before the Legislative Council of the City of Batangas;
That the corporation, upon accreditation, shall serve as the mover for the promotion of the rights
of every member- kasambahays, assist them in implementing their rights before concerned
government agencies, promote the upliftment of the plight of the members as kasambahays and
as persons, to accept grants, donations, legacies, devises and endowments and raise funds
thru membership dues and to do all acts and deeds necessary and pertinent to further the
abovementioned purposes;
That the undersigned ask your good office to allow the accreditation of the said corporation for
the furtherance of its purpose and for the welfare of its member- kasambahays.
