Dr. Bernard Franklin to Speak at Susquehanna


University
Selinsgrove, PA Susquehanna University will be hosting Dr. Bernard
Franklin as a keynote speaker on Monday, April 18, 2016.
Dr. Franklin serves as the Assistant Vice President of Student Life at
Kansas State University. He is a known leader in discussing issues of
urban men, youth, and families.
He will be speaking at Susquehanna about campus climate and student
leaders effecting positive change.
This is a continuation of Susquehannas efforts to educate and engage
students in conversation about campus culture. It is in conjunction with
recent discussions between Susquehanna officials and students
working together to increase safety and awareness throughout the
campus community.
Dr. Franklin will present his speech at 7 p.m. in Stretansky Hall on
Monday. The event is free and open to the public. There will be a 30minute Q&A session following his address.
The Susquehanna Student Government Association will be sponsoring
the event.
