What prior data is informing your

instruction?
We have been working on long division
since Monday and have been gradually
progressing from easy questions to harder
questions. Today we will plan to wrap up
long division before we take a break from
numbers and head into some shape and
space outcomes next week.
What assessment strategies will
measure the learning from the
outcomes?
Students will complete a "Division of the
Day" sheet today for assessment. I have
done informal assessment throughout the
week with their Smart Pals.

Reflection

Division of the Day

- Students return to their seats and Miss
McKnight to pass out Division of the Day
sheet to be completed for assessment.
- Students to work independently to
solve the problem 6426 and complete
the sheet.
Independent Practice
- When students have finished their
sheet, they will get a textbook and work on
p102 #6a,c,e,g; #4a,b,d,g; #5, #7, #8.
- Students will work first on question 6,
then question 4. We likely will not get to
questions 5, 7, and 8, if we get to the
independent practice at all.
Correct Independent Practice
- Monitor student progress as they work.
Correct question 6 once everyone has
completed these questions, correct
question 4 once everyone has completed
these questions, etc.
