Verruca vulgaris (Common wart)

Most commonly caused by Human papilloma virus:


HPV-2 and -4
Condyloma acuminatum ( Genital and anal wart)

Low risk HPV

95% of genital warts caused by HPV-6 and -11 (low risk for cancer)

HPV-16 and -18 (high risk for cervical and anal carcinoma)
Herpes simplex virus infection: Oral and genital herpes

Oral herpes caused by Herpes


simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1).

Genital herpes caused by Herpes


simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2),
rarely by HSV-1
Molluscum contagiosum

Caused by pox virus


Human orf ( Sheep handler’s disease)

Caused by parapox virus


Kaposi’s sarcoma

Caused by Human herpes
