BARAMAG 10 sized magnesium oxide is an acid soluble bridging agent alternative to calcium carbonate.
BARAMAG 10 bridging agent is available in three size grades 10, 30 and 50 corresponding to the micron
D50 particle size. BARAMAG bridging agent has a significantly higher density than calcium carbonate and
is the bridging agent in BARADRIL-M fluid system.

Treatment

A minimum of 40 lb/bbl should be added to achieve effective bridging. The BARAMAG 10 bridging agent
selected for bridging should have a median particle size at least one third the average pore throat diameter.

BARAMAG 10 bridging agent is packaged in 50-lb (22.7-kg) sacks.
