This outline is a formal acknowledgment of an upcoming event and fundraiser for St.
Marks. This outline will include the event, where and when it will take place. There will be a
prepared budget and a timeline.

An Animal Stroll on Main Street

Details:
The event will allow pet owners from Westmoreland, Somerset, and Cambria County to
bring their pets for a fundraiser stroll
The event will began in the municipal park on W Main Street across from Giant Eagle
and finish at Mellon Park at the end of E Main Street
Registration will open in April and each pet will have a registered tag and tagged owner
who will walk with the pet
Refreshments and treats will be offered for pets, owners, and supporters at the beginning
of the stroll, during the stroll, and at the finish line
There will be live music on the diamond
This event will be from morning to mid afternoon
The street will be blocked off all day until after the race has concluded for the
participants
Food and clothing vendors will be permitted on sidewalks and the center of town all day
Budget and Misc.
Budget:
$1,000-$2,000
o food and water for participants (pets and walkers)
o doggy bag for participants
o shirts for workers and volunteers
o Advertisement and marketing (radio, television, newspaper, flyers)
Misc:
Approval from borough for stopping traffic through main street
Approval for event, day, and location
