Professional Goals: I plan to become a secondary English teacher. I am particularly interested in

working in an urban high school setting with students who are English language learners, as my
minor is Spanish.

international Chinese, South American, and African students.

Placement in 7th and 8th grade English classrooms for about 4 hours a
week. Read and helped with assignments in small groups of students.
Fall 2013
Lewton Elementary School, Lansing, MI
Placement in 5th grade classroom for about 2 hours a week. Mostly
observed and helped individual students with class assignments.

Romeo High School, Romeo, MI
A part of the Experiential Learner Program. Observed and helped students
in a 9th grade English classroom with classwork for 1 hour each school
day. Mostly worked individually with an autistic student.
