closet. I walked over to the block area where the issue was sharing the single toy. I got down on the children's level and explained to them the timer aspect. I told them I was going to set the timer and when it goes off the child with the toy needs to give it to the next specific child. This was something the children could complete on their own when the timer went off without the assistance from a teacher. Eventually the students would bring the timer to me to set and explain what toy they wanted to play with. I would then explain to the child already playing with the toy that I was going to set the timer and when it goes off the toy needs to be given to this specific child. The artifact I included for this standard is the CARA'S kit behavior management/adaptations situation example. This artifact supports this standard in specific because it is an example of teaching and learning with children of different ages, characteristics and environments. This artifact is an example of my knowledge of problem solving and adapting to different situations in a mixed age group
