During my practicum I had so many wonderful, memorable experiences that
have helped me shape and persure my college education degree in the early
childhood education field. The practicum site experience gave me so many great
learning opportunities and the insight to really seeing the reality of what my career
would hopefully some day look like.
Tt gave me an idea of things I wanted and did not want to incorporate or
include in my classroom. Tt also gave me new ideas for child adaptations, behavior
management, and more tricks to add to my bag for future use. Seeing and
experiencing first hand, the work of other teachers and staff gave me an idea of
what to expect, what was expected of me, and also gave me more general, hands-on
experience to interact, teach, and learn from all of the students and staff. Being
able to be like another teacher to the students gave me great experiences and
gave me the opportunity to learn even more from this endeavor.
My student time log sheet is a record of all of my practicum site hours that
I completed in my early childhood field experience college course that-F-completed
in the fall of 2015, T had to make an arranged schedule with my mentor teacher
and have it approved by my professor. I then had to fill out the sign in sheet every

sing in sheet to prove that I was completing my hours accurately. I also have a
student sign in sheet from my early childhood education lab college course that I
completed in the spring of 2015, although I have not included that documentation
in my still developing portfolio.
