Nerja has been employed at Holy Faith Convent Couva for the past seven years and during her time here she has already made a remarkable impact on the students, staff and school. She is extremely committed to teaching her students and this is evident in her earnest efforts to improve her delivery of the Biology curriculum. I noticed that she spends most of her free time at school researching her subject area. Additionally, she frequently engages in discussions about teaching methods with other members of staff in order to get ideas to improve her own methods. However, Neerja is more than just a Biology teacher to her students, She maintains close bonds with her students and is always willing to listen to them and offer advice. Furthermore, Neerja maintains cordial relationships with all members of staff and is well known and respected for her outgoing personality, willingness to express her views and enthusiasm to assist in school activities. She is always involved in the extra-curricular activities at the school in a meaningful manner.
