HONEY DEW DONUTS COFFEE SHOP

It was very tough decision for me to decide where I wanted to go for

breakfast. There are a lot of places to go, for some places, I could tell how
good they are just looking form the outside. Then I said to myself, I have not
been to honey dew donuts before. This will be a fantastic opportunity for me
to have breakfast at honey dew donuts. So, I drove for 5.5miles to Honey
Dew Donut, located at Andover Street in Danvers along route 114 East. On
my way to the location, I called my friend to meet me there.
Danvers is a town (and census-designated place) in Essex County,
Massachusetts, located on the Danvers River near the northeastern coast of
Massachusetts. Originally known as Salem Village, the town is most widely
known for its association with the 1692 Salem witch trials. It is also known for
the Danvers State Hospital (one of the state's 19th-century psychiatric
hospitals, which was located here) and for Liberty Tree Mall. As of the 2010
census, the town's population was 26,493.
Honey Dew Donuts is New Englands largest locally owned donut and coffee
shop chain with 145 units and over 65 franchise families. Started in the small
town of Mansfield, MA by Richard Bowen, serving customers a variety of
coffees, donuts, muffins, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and other beverages
for forty years. Honey Dew Donuts is based in Plainville, MA, its hops have

spread throughout communities as far north as Farmington, NH and as far

south as Westerly, RI with plans to grow each year.
I walked in, greeted by the attendant;
Me: Good morning
Attendant: Good morning. How are you today?
Me: I am doing very well, thank you.
Attendant: What can I get for you?
Me: HmmI do not know yet. It is my first being here.
Attendant: Take your time and let me know when you are ready to order, ok?
It took me about five minutes to place my order. I had a lot of choices
though; from muffins to donuts; breakfast sandwiches, pastries, bagels and
cream cheeses; light beverages such as coffees and hot chocolates I had a
small hot chocolate and a honey donut. There were two tables at the right
side of the caf, one close to the door, and a long table at the left. I sat on
the table at the right, close to a gentleman who was reading a newspaper. I
took a sip of my hot chocolate. It was not too sweet as I expected that, but I
love it. The Honey nut donut was delicious.
It was not that busy on till 8:30am, there was a queue of seven people. There
was a group of five ladies sitting close to the door. I was joined by my friend
at 8:20am. She had a small hot chocolate and a bagel and cream cheese.

The bill altogether came to $9.84. I was impressive with the breakfast I had,
even though I had a lot of choices to make.
