My position included working with the Women's Residential Drug and Alcohol Program at Hazelton SFF. I
conducted psychosocial assessments and implemented CBT focused treatment plans for a group of 24 inmates, and
provided supervision for approximately 190 participants.

While working for the Division of Student Life in the Department of Campus and Community Life, my individual
responsibilities included assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of commuting, nontraditional, and veteran student programs and experiences. Under the direction of the Community Coordinator, I
worked to provide leadership and program development in the areas of creating, building, and sustaining community
partnerships with area landlords, non-profits, businesses, government agencies, and recreational areas. I created and
designed new programs that fostered student retention, campus involvement, and student success.

I was responsible for the recruitment, training, and management of a staff of 40. I also kept track of the store's
inventory, and ordered stock from distributors. I worked on payroll, and a weekly schedule that maintained an
overall labor cost of less than 23.8%, and waste cost of less than 18% of our overall sales. I displayed excellent
customer service at all times.
STUDENT COORDINATOR | NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
APRIL 2009 TO MAY 2012
As the student coordinator, I worked directly with the program coordinator to facilitate a successful New Student
Orientation program. My individual responsibilities included recruiting, hiring, and training a student staff of 30. I
provided the general supervision of approximately 25 to 40 student workers, and ensured all student staff members
received appropriate training to effectively perform their duties and responsibilities. I also lived in Lincoln Hall
during the orientation program and handled any university policy infractions while supervising 15 to 20 Resident
Assistant Orientation Leaders. I coordination with the orientation coordinator, I trained faculty on orientation
expectations. I also helped collected data from each session, and implemented statically driven changes to improve
WVUs new student orientation program.
