Shell Gas Station Robbed for the second time

On Thursday, May 6th, 2010 at 11:55 pm Slidell Police received a call from the clerk of the Shell
Station located at 750 Brownswitch, reporting that the store had just been robbed. The store clerk told the
officers that two white males entered the store, one was armed with a long silver barreled gun and was
described as a white male, wearing blue jeans, no shoes or socks and an unknown color or style t-shirt. He
was approximately 5’10”, tall with a thin build and approximately 18 to 20 years of age with a black face
mask that covered his entire head. The other suspect was described as a white male 5’6”, he too was tall with
a thin build and was last seen wearing a black shirt and unknown color or style pants. He was also wearing a
black face mask that covered only his nose and mouth. This suspect was holding a large silver hunting knife
and a white plastic shopping bag. The clerk did advise that these two suspects were different from the two
that robbed him on April 27th, 2010. See release dated April 27, for more details on that robbery.

After the clerk gave the armed suspects the money, one of the suspects took a hand full of cigars from
behind the counter. Both suspects then fled the store on foot heading west towards the Central Progressive
Bank.

A search of the area by both officers and a K-9, ended with no suspects or evidence being located.
Investigators believe that the two suspects had a vehicle parked nearby that was used to leave the scene.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Slidell Police Department at 985-643-3131 or

may be eligible to receive a cash reward.

Investigators are trying to retrieve the video surveillance video from the store and other nearby locations.
