BIDALeader who you want to be! 1. PARA SA MAG-AARAL AT BAYAN. BIDALeader who serves the people, for the people. The student council should be progressive and proactive. It should not only create ideas but, it should make these ideas into realities as well. I believe that this brand of leadership is the best way to lead the studentry, to lobby for the passage of bills that are both pro-student and pro-people, and to create meaningful change in the University. 2. AMPLIFY STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS. BIDALeader who empowers the student organizations in ways that give them the venue to showcase each orgs unique purpose and mission. Student organizations play a vital role in shaping the University. Camaraderie in UPV should be strengthened among these student organizations by advocating for the improvement of each orgs executive committe e and the arrangement of leadership trainings. 3. SAFETY AND SECURITY. BIDALeader who cares not only for the students but, also for the people. As students, it is our right to have a safe and secure environment conducive towards learning. Insurance must be secured before the start of the semester. In its current state, our health servi ces are inadequate. The student council should also call for the increase and proper appropriation for the budget of the infirmary and to improve its efficiency of its delivery of services.
