City of Beaumont April 26, 2016 Dear Mayor and City Council: Effective on or about December 31, 2016, | plan to retire from the City of Beaumont. Being the City Manager for nearly 14 years has been an honor and a great privilege. We have accomplished a tremendous amount over this period that we should all be proud of. Highlights include the Calder Avenue Project; the Event Centre; numerous street and drainage projects citywide; park improvements citywide; downtown infrastructure upgrades; illuminated traffic signage; a robust recovery from two major hurricanes; an excellent management team in place; and the City is currently in very good financial condition. Thank you for your friendship and strong support over the years. The City of Beaumont is a great place to work and | wish all of you and this wonderful city much future success.
