Second First, I would recommend changing the e-mail subject to something lighter, Notice of
insurance changes, could be a better attention grabber and less of a tip-off to what the topic is.
Second, I would change the wording to keep C.K. sounding educated, but not sound as if he is
bringing bad news by starting off with I hereby notify you. Third, I would change the specifics
of telling all employees that the smokers will be paying 15% more than others to be vaguer
saying that smoking will cost more on their insurance. Lastly, I would add another section to the
e-mail with phone numbers or websites that offer help with smoking cessation.
