Physical Therapy Assistant. Based on the requirements listed in the ad, I feel that my
skills and experience are a perfect match for this position.
The field of Physical Therapy and rehabilitation has been my knack ever since
undergraduate school at the University of Georgia. I have two years experience as a
PTA at Athens TherapySouth, in Athens, Georgia. I administered the physical therapy
treatment planned for each of our patients, attended in-service programs in and
outside of Athens to gain as much knowledge as possible to better myself for the
position, administered therapeutic exercises, and provided effective communication
with patients, their families, physicians, and other health care professionals on a daily
basis. TherapySouth is a fairly new, but growing office serving Athens, and is one of
the best in the area.
In my years with TherapySouth, I have seen over 75 different patients and assessed
their treatments and evaluations under the supervision of out physical therapists. I
have experience in planning, responsibility, commitment, communication, and
development. TherapySouth saw a wide variety of patients from young to old, and I
can provide the utmost care and patience for any individual in need of rehabilitation
or therapeutic services.
