Dear Parents:
We have been plugging away with Project
Citizen! Last Friday we had two guest speakers (an
officer from TPD and one of our own Lineweaver
parents running for office) come in to speak to the
class about our project. Our students were prepared
with good questions, and we learned a lot!
There is still a lot of work to be done with Project
Citizen. As a result, we are assigning minimal
homework this week. Students should concentrate on
getting their speeches written and practicing them for
homework.
Lineweavers PTA is hosting a school wide Walka-ton this Wednesday! Students should wear
comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and drink lots of water.
One more week until Spring Break! Continue to
encourage your students to push through and work
hard. Testing for AZMERIT will begin after the break.

Sincerely,
Ms. Matchett and Miss Charles
