This document outlines the expectations for teachers' growth data and reflections for their annual evaluation at South Lake Schools. Teachers are expected to provide at least one data set from each content area (reading, writing, math, science, social studies) showing student growth, along with a one paragraph narrative highlighting strengths and challenges. They should also summarize their success on professional goals determined earlier in the year. Finally, teachers should include a one paragraph reflection on each of the four evaluation domains.

This document has been created to share our expectations for your growth data and professional reflections related to this years evaluation process. Growth Data: Your data sets should represent evidence of growth in all content areas (reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies) with at least one sample assessment from each content area as a minimum expectation. You can use DIBELS data, common assessment pieces or in some instances pre and post data sets that you have created. Each data set should include a brief narrative from you outlining what you see as the strengths and challenges and need not be longer than one paragraph. Professional Goals: Your goals were determined at the beginning of the year and your success relevant to those goals should also be summarized. Again, the summary need not be more than one paragraph and your reflection on your growth should be written in a narrative that is beneficial for both of us. Domain Reflection: As we wrap up the evaluation process a paragraph summarizing your perspective for each of the four domains is recommended.
