I came across your job listing for Environmental/Ecological Consultant on Indeed.com. I am
searching for an entry level position in the field of environmental science and policy and thought
this position would be a good fit.
I am interested in this position because the job tasks seem like exciting and important
responsibilities. I believe that although Florida undergoes a lot of development, it is important to
maintain our natural ecosystems. I am currently working on my B.S. in Environmental Science
and Policy. Also, I have working knowledge of ArcGIS and have experience working outside in
Florida weather conditions. I have learned a lot about Floridas environment through some
coursework Ive done at the University of South Florida including Plant Identification, Wetland
Environments, and Ecosystems of Florida. Through these courses, Ive learned about important
Florida species such as the gopher tortoise and how to delineate wetlands. For more information
