LESSON PLAN: Landforms Day 4

Enthusiastic About: Applying new information to relevant, meaningful engagement


Materials: Laptops, Reference resources: Social studies textbook, Digital scavenger hunt worksheet, Landforms
cut and paste sheet, blank paper

Objectives:
The Students will:

Compare and contrast landforms.


Summarize content and concepts.
Apply knowledge of landforms to perform an online
activity.

and paste worksheet.

Procedure with Amount of Time Stated for Each Activity:


(35 minutes):
The class will complete a hands-on cut and paste project that requires them to cut out individual images of
landforms and paste them onto a definitions sheet. (10 minutes)
The class will review the types of landforms. Students will use their laptops to access a Landforms memory game.
They will have the choice to try two different games one that is timed and the other is not. (10 minutes)
Students will be asked to use their textbook and other resources theyve acquired throughout the week to come up
with their own assessment questions. They will take turns reading their questions and answering them. The teacher
will collect the questions at the end of the lesson. (20 minutes)
