Dear Parent/Guardian,

My name is Kristina Hight and I am a student at the

University of Utah. I am working on a Masters Degree in
Education. I have been assisting in Mr. Affolters Earth Science
class weekly since September. I will be completing my student
teaching and teach full time in your students Earth Science class
until the end of the third term. I am excited to be teaching at
Granite Park Jr. High. I have loved getting to know your child.
In an attempt to make this transition easier on the students,
I plan to keep the same classroom rules and procedures that Mr.
Affolter has used. I am eager to teach for these next few months,
and I hope to meet you at Parent Teacher Conferences in
February.
