HABITAT
The Europeans habitat is in forests. The forest
habitat is perfect for the European fox because it
provides an abundance of food and shelter.
DIET OR NOURISHMENT
The European foxs prey is poultry, bandicoots,
quolls, numbats, ground nesting birds, frogs, insects,
lambs and kids.Evidence suggests red foxes are a
primary cause in the decline and extinction of many
small and medium-sized rodent and marsupial
species in Australia. They also prey on many bird
species.
REPRODUCTION
The European fox mates from January all through to March. The
female will make one or more dens right after mating. The unneeded dens are used if the original den is disturbed. After a little
less than two months after mating, the female gives birth to a litter.
The the litter they have between one and ten kits (baby european
fox). The male brings the female food while she is caring for the
kits. The kits start playing outside the den when they are round
about a month old. The mother begins feeding her babies
regurgitated food. The kits leave their mother when they are about
seven months old.

THREATS
The European fox doesnt have many threats
although, they do have to look out for bait and traps.
HUMAN INVOLVEMENT
Humans are trying to reduce the number of red fox
reproduction. Poison bait is one way but has turned
out to be a bit unsuccessful as other animals have
eaten the bait and died. Everyone should definitely
try to reduce the numbers of the Red Fox as the
increase rapidly.
