Thiswholeweekwearelookingatgroupsthatwereoppressedinthesecondhalfofthe
1800s.Theobjectiveistocomparetheoppressionweseeinthe1800swithoppression
weencounterincurrenttimes.Todaywewillbedoingstationworktolookatdifferent
storiesoffactorylifeandhowtheworkerstherewereoppressed.Wewillbecomparing
thefactoriesinthesecondhalfofthe1800stothefactoriestodayandlookingatthe
similaritiesanddifferencesbetweenthetwogroups.
