otovo u svim religijam a, od prapovijesti do velikih vjera dananjice, voda je jedna od tem eljnih odrednica sim
bolikog i m etaforikog sustava. Od elem entarne distinkcije vode i zemlje, preko sustava etiri elementa, voda
je uvijek imala iznim no vaan poloa j u arhetipskom svijetu ovjeka i neodvojiv je dio fundam entalnih postav
ki veine kultura. Na m aterijalnoj i fiz ik o j razini, voda je isto tako i najvanija ivotna potreba i osnova svekolikog
ivota na Zem lji. Z b og svega toga voda je ini se sveprisutna u religijskom i duhovnom iskustvu svih svjetskih
civilizacija, neovisno o vremenu ili prostoru koji su zauzimale, a in i se da i u strukturi pojedinih religija vodu
nalazim o na slinim mjestima. Ovom prilikom razm otrit em o neke tem eljne odrednice uloge vode u prapovijesnoj
religiji. Prapovijesna razdoblja izuzetno su vana je r u tim kulturama percepcija duhovnog i fizik o g u ovjeku nije
jesno razdvojena. Isto tako ovjek reflektira percepciju o sebi na percepciju svijeta u smislu prostora k oji ga okruu
je, pa u tim razdobljim a fiz ik i prostor inkorporira i m noge kategorije m itolokog, duhovnog prostora. Upravo zbog
svega toga sim bolika vode posebno je zanim ljiva u prapovijesnim razdobljim a kad m aterijalna i duhovna razina jo
nisu potpuno razdvojene, pa se ifundam entalna vanost vode na fizikom i duhovnom planu konstantno isprepliu
u ulozi koju voda zauzim a u pojednim religijskim ili duhovnim sustavima.

ivot.51 Teko je izvoditi tako sloene koncepte iz
relativno ogranienih arheolokih konteksta i
bez direktnih referenci u povijesnim izvorima,
stoga smatram da e tek detaljna istraivanja i
eventualne analogije razjasniti je li rije o rtva
ma, zagrobnom depozitu koji bi bio blizak pred
loenom konceptu ili neemu treem.
Voda u svim svojim oblicima ima mistiki
potencijal ukorjenjen u njezinim temeljnim
svojstvima: kretanju i promjeni, oienju i
