Short-Term Goals: Within my first year of teaching, some goals I have
are to become a coach, remain updated on Physical Education content through Professional Development as well as establish a connection within the Physical Education Professional Learning Community, and initiate a Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program. These elements will allow me to focus on building relationships within the school environment as well as the community.
Long-Term Goals: Within five years of teaching, I hope to establish an
overall inclusive and dynamic Physical Education program utilizing the knowledge from continued Professional Development. This will involve incorporating Health and Wellness education as well as providing Unified and Adaptive courses to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn through movement. Meanwhile, I also plan to continue my education and pursue a Masters Degree.
