    What Are Infectious Diseases?

    This project involves learning about infectious diseases in human history. My goal is to accurately
    estimate how likely another pandemic or epidemic would happen in the future, how soon it would come,
    and what the disease would be like. I also want to inform people of ways to prevent this from happening.
    The second way Ive learned about infectious diseases is finding out what they really are. Microorganisms
    are the cause of infectious diseases. These microorganisms can be viruses, bacteria, fungi, or parasites.
    These microorganisms same microorganisms can also be classified as pathogens. In learning about this, I
    will be able to show how diseases actually function.
