Paradise
Towering Palm Trees,
Dangle coconuts that are hard as rocks.
Cracked open as they flow with silky, clear liquid.
Cascading foliage for Mother Natures protection,
From the scorching rays.
Exfoliating my feet with every step,
As I walk to the water,
Warmed by the ball of fire in the sky.
Catching Zs atop a comfy bed,
With fluffy cotton balls floating above my head.
Skin kissed by golden beams.
Tropical refreshment gripped by my fingers,
Quenching my thirst that lingers.
I take in the delicate sounds of nature,
Relaxing in my sanctuary of peace.
Water as reflective as a looking glass,
Fills the coves;
Surrounded by luscious vegetation.
I break the smooth surface with a big leap.
Floating through bliss,
Being delighted by the breezy wonderland.
Passing exotic creatures,
Big and small.
Paradise has it all.
