Process:
During large group we will start by singing a few different songs
o April song o Spring song o Alphabet song (with actions) After doing a few different songs I will move into what letter we are working on this week We are working on the letter Ee and I will have the students write the letter Ee in the air while I write it on the board I will go through the different things in the Ee pocket on the alphabet chart I will read Big Egg and make the connection that egg starts with the letter e I will also read Flap Your Wings and Try because we have been watching the Decorah Eagles and we have currently seen one hatch so this book will make connection with that After the stories I will have the students take a tour with me around the room to show them the new centers and what they can do at those centers
