My Letter Packet

Objectives:

Regulates own emotions and behaviors

Establishes and sustains positive relationships
Participates cooperatively and constructively in group situations
Demonstrates fine-motor strength and coordination
Use language to express thoughts and needs
Use appropriate conversational and other communication skills
Demonstrates positive approaches to learning
Demonstrates emergent writing skills
Demonstrates knowledge of the alphabet

Process:

The students will write their name on their packet and then again on the page with Xx.
They will trace the xs on the page and then write their own xs.
They will then use a light marker to write more xs at the bottom of the page.
Once all students are done with the letter Xx I will start having students work on the
letter Yy who did their Xx the day before.

What sounds does the letter x make?
Where have you seen the letter x?
