Pride Post #21

Tuesday, January 19th, 2016

Dear Parents and Guardians of

_____________________________________________
Young ladies from the Pride of 2020 and
2024 enjoy one another during ice skating

Weve made it to the halfway point of the school year! By virtually every measure, its been an
awesome start and a successful 2015-2016 school year thus far. Much of that success is due to your support and efforts to
help your student be their best. Its also due our incredibly dedicated staff. Of all the schools Ive worked at or heard about, Ive never
seen people work so hard and give so much of themselves. Lastly, our success is largely due to our students who outwork their peers,
push themselves beyond the ordinary, and have earned the attention and respect of the state of North Carolina as a result. Lets keep
the momentum going as we embark on a new quarter and jump into an extremely important week!
As a reminder, students will complete their benchmark assessments this week. Please ensure students arrive at school on time,
eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school, and remain at school for the duration of the day. Thank you for your support to ensure
students will be at their best for benchmark
week.

As a reminder, applications for our
elementary school opening next year with
Kindergarten are available in our front office
and online. Please come to the school during
regular hours if you would like to pick up an
application for yourself, a family member, or
friend or locate it on our website. We are
excited to welcome the Pride of 2029 to
Henderson Collegiate next year!
