Afterthatdiscussionisoverwewillmoveintothedetailsoftheattackitself.Thisonlyneedstobecoveredbreiflybutit
isstillimportanttheyknowthesequenceofeventsandhowiteffectedtheUSpopulation.Thiswillbringusbacktothe
questionIaskedearlieraboutwhatisoneofourgreatestprimalmotivators.Thisattackscaredus,andwereactedina
hugeway.

Iamexcitedforthislessonbecausealthoughthematerialissomewhatdepressingitisfascinatingwhenpresented
properly.IthinkthevisualaidsIamprovidingwillhelpbridgethegapbecausethematerialisalittlebitcomplicated.I
amnervousbecauseoftheamountofclassdiscussionIhaveincluded.Ihavetogainthekidsinterestandtrustquickly
sowehaveaproductivediscussioninsteadofmejustansweringmyownquestionsthewholetime.

PostLesson

Thelessonitselfwentverywell.IhadalotoffunpresentingitandIbelivethestudentsgottheinformation.The
discussionwasprettygoodbutIhavetoseriouslyworkonmywaittime.Ihavetroublelettingthesilencesitthereafter
Iaskaquestionandit'sjustsomethingIwillhavetostarttogetcomfortablewith.JustbecauseIknowtheanswer
doesn'tmeanthestudentsdoandIhavetolearntogivethemafewsecondstocomeupwithananswerandtrustthey
won'tjustleavemestandingthere!
Onthewholemyvisualaidsworkedwellandeventheaidwhosignstothehearingimparedstudentsaidmypaceand
cadencewereeasytokeepupwith,whichwassomethingIwasveryworriedaboutgoingin.ItendtotalkfastwhenI
amnervous.
