Twenty-Five Dollars For a New Best Friend

HARRISONBURG, VAFebruary 18, 2016. Rockingham/Harrisonburg SPCA
will be at Rockingham County Fairgrounds April 9 and 10 for Shenandoah Valley
Builders Associations 36th Annual Home and Garden Show. Animals will be on-site and
available for adoption at a reduced fee.
The Home and Garden Show is open to the public. SPCA volunteers and staff will
introduce dogs and cats to those who attend. Animals will be located at the on-site
adoption center.
To adopt an animal, a 25-dollar adoption fee is required. The fee covers vaccinations, flea
treatment, de-worming, microchip ID and a goodie bag. After the fee is paid, the animals
are available to go home with their new families.
Rockingham County Fairgrounds are located at 4808 S Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, VA

PET ADOPTION-2
At the Home and Garden Show along with the SPCA adoption center, there will be food
trucks, DIY sessions, Classic Car and Truck Cruise-In, homesteading, Good Living
Showcase, a kid zone and over 150 vendors.
Future events the Rockingham/Harrisonburg SPCA will have are adoption centers at
Rocking-R Ace Hardware Spring Fling April 16 and at Animal Palooza in Bridgewater
April 30. Adoption Facilitator Taryn Bromser-Kloeden said, There will be plenty of
healthy and friendly dogs and cats at the upcoming adoption events.
